An Activity is one of the base components within the HNR to ZERO model and contains facts, variables, tags and resource relationships (i.e. ActivityType, Meter, Model) relating to a specific window of measurement.
A Collector interfaces with external systems and is responsible for collection of data from that external system.
An Ingest is a singular event where data is brought on to the platform. Examples would be file-based or API-based.
An integration is a singular touch-point to another system for the exchange of data. AWS Cost and Usage report, and MySQL database would be two examples.
A Meter is responsible for measuring data ingested in to the platform by a Collector.
Data is segregated by owner. This can be used to separate data across different business units or geographies (for example) and additionally allows HNR impact to be separated from our customer data.
